ORCNET Business Meeting
-----------------------


A business meeting of ORCNET, the Oregon IEEE
Consultants' Network, was held at Tillamook Restaurant
and Ice Creamery, 11485 S.W. Schools Ferry Rd.,
Beaverton, Oregon.

Quorum was attained, and members present were 
Patrick H. Barrett(chair), H. Joe Tabor (Treas./Sec.),
Keith Lofstrom (Webmaster), Ed Ritz, Duke Aguiar.
Visitor attending was John Huseby.

Business Meeting Called to Order at 7:48 PM by Chair.

CHAIR'S REPORT:
---------------
Treasurer's Report was late, even though we sent it
by requested date.


TREASURER'S REPORT:
-------------------

On the week of February 11 - February 15, I audited the ORCNET
account.  On February 16, I submitted opening 2001 and closing
2001 bank statements, along with an account summary.  These forms
were not pristine downloaded IEEE forms, but the information 
needed was given.  I will try to do a better, "more official" report
next time.

SECRETARY'S REPORT:
-------------------

On February 16, I submitted our membership roster and our officers
to IEEE, as required,  along with two meeting minutes to verify that
we had at least two technical meetings.  These forms were no
in pristine downloaded IEEE format, but they did provide all of
the necessary information.  I will try to use the IEEE forms in the
future.   At the end of last year, we had 13 members.

WEBMASTER'S REPORT:
-------------------
Met new Oregon IEEE officials, Sue Hamil, new secretary.
Maintaining changes on account.  Trade shows are probably
decreasing in size because so many are using the Web for
[product info] instead.  Webmaster recommends that those
who need [consulting] work should put content toghether for
our ORCNET website.  Webmaster says a lot of marketing has
fallen on him.
