>FY2001 Officers are now signatories to the Orcnet checking account. Chair

>handling the IEEE Signature. Treasurer has retrieved from Past Treasurer

>Orcnet Bank Records except checkbook; Audit therefore incomplete. Past and
>present Treasurer agreed that Past Treasurer would relinquish checkbook
>pending receipt of bank letter confirming his removal from account.

>NEW BUSINESS:

>1. Discussion of Web Site and Advertising.
>Webmaster reports displeasure with our new, deeper location on the Oregon
>IEEE website (Home -> Affinity -> Consult). Suggests Orcnet purchase and
use
>"EECONSULT.ORG".  Also, present hosting service (NWNexus) is in Chapter 11;
>new provider may be required. Suggested acquiring new server.

>Eugene suggested adding a "search by skill" to our site.

>2. Trade Show Review
>Joe reported on Orcnet activity at both recent, local trade shows: the one
>in Salem and NWMCIA 2001. Activity in Salem was poor; many non-tech booths.
>The NWMCIA show was poorly attended on both days; more exhibitors than
>visitors on the 2nd day.  Possibly due to onsite construction; no parking.
>This could ruin Northcon 2001. Treasurer and Chair have informed Art
>Henderson, Northcon Committee member, of this concern.

>Usefulness of other shows was discussed: CICC,DAC, SIGDA (?).

>Joe suggested creating an Orcnet Group Brochure, perhaps with photos. No
